In reply to: Rinu posted an update: the users in my buddypress are not able to upload avatars… need urgent help… thx Viewi created blogs.dir/1/files/avatars/ . i’m thinking the 1 comes automatically… not sure… creating blogs.dir/1/files/avatars/ didn’t resolve the problem… the avatar pics are being stored in a folder called uploads/avatars/ ………where do i find my blog id and how to replace the wrong blog id?

I had the same problem that comes up because of permission in hosting. It solved after chmod.
i have given full permission on the wp-content folder and all subfolders within…. but same issue…. also, I don’t have a blog.dir folder… thx

How about creating manually of blogs.dir/1/files/avatars/1
The first 1 is your blog number.
The last 1 is your id (admin), only for testing purpose

Hmmm… I’m using WPMU , WP doesn’t create blogs.dir

You should rather ask your very first question ’How to upload Avatars’ in buddypress.org’s troubleshoting forum.
