Haloid posted a new activity comment: %s Test comment Michael.. Here you go.
Michael Berra posted a new activity comment: %s cool – it works again. Thanks @haloid
Andy Peatling posted a new activity comment: %s I fixed this yesterday. Also if you reply to a comment, the user who posted the parent comment will be notified too.
Michael Berra posted a new activity comment: %s wow – that’s really cool news!
Michael Berra posted a new activity comment: %s Why do we need forums now
(I know, I come up with that always, when I have the possibility to bring it up
)
Haloid posted a new activity comment: %s forums are for a more formal purpose I guess.. where the discussions stored are not random ones..
Andy Peatling posted a new activity comment: %s Remember some people may want to turn off activity streams and just enable forums. Others might want to disable forums altogether. It’s not all or nothing and different situations suit different setups.
Andrew Wayne posted a new activity comment: %s @andy, @ezcali yes i would like to know about this aswell, would like to also have no-threaded activity streams: http://testbp.org/activity/p/63811/
21cdb posted a new activity comment: %s @andy I would like to hear ur thougts about this conceptual idea for a future version of BP:
Forums build of Forum-Activity-Items: http://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/1559
Would it be possible and are there any drawbacks? I came up with it because the ”detailed thread view” on the activity stream is allready very similar to a forum.
Michael Berra posted a new activity comment: %s amen to that!!! I really like that mockup and the idea and would LOVE to hear Andy say something about it (this would direct who I would setup now my communities – with or without forums…)
Mike posted a new activity comment: %s threading is just css. working on a theme that doesn’t that, since there’s still about 20% of people that are stuck with those pesky 1024×786 screens.
Andrew Wayne posted a new activity comment: %s @mfgmk, how do i edit the css to edit the threading??
Mike posted a new activity comment: %s you’ll want to edit the margin for group-list and item-list uls/lis … just set them to 0 or whatever you want your padding to be and you should be golden. best way to approach this is by using the firebug plugin for FireFox =)
Andrew Wayne posted a new activity comment: %s thanks!
