@johnjamesjacoby When I clicked the activation link from my e-mail it required I input a activation key. Isn’t the link supposed to do that for me? I had to cut the last part of the link in my email and paste it in.

@djpaul @johnjamesjacoby I found a bug on the nav tabs on profile: I’m making a new profile tab in my buddypress, and I put the option ’show_for_displayed_user’ => false, Ok, this works, but if a user put the correct addres to that tab, he will enter. But this doesn’t happens in Messages tab. There are corrections??

If you’re logged in as a super admin, you can see everything regardless. Other users can not.

@johnjamesjacoby Installed Buddypress, but ”Register” and ”Activate” pages were not working. De-activated the plugin, and reinstalled — but this time, no Installation Wizard — so I’m a little lost how to begin. How do I edit settings in the installation wizard if I cannot find it?

The items is waaaaaay down here on the page. Perhaps the Admin panel will allow ascendant or descendant listings of the messages… I like the most recent at the top

Yes it’s no use having a reply all the way down the page. It’s not visually highlighted either. I only know it’s there because I see it in my email. I think mentions should include responses to threads Im involved in. And I think mentions should dynamically update using ajax and change color to red if there is new activity. @kvenner This is what we are looking for http://buddypress.org/community/groups/buddypress-activity-stream-bump-to-top/ This plugin will “bump” an activity record to the top of the stream when an activity comment reply is made.

@kvenner And another plugin that might help http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-activity-stream-ajax-notifier/ this will check for a new activity stream item every few minutes and display a simple message.

Searching the activity streams is not enabled by default here. A plugin and a neat UI could bring it out, though.

I wanted to know what the difference was b/w adding a page that is from a drop down menu on the home page and posting the same thing on a parent page for example, titled ”events” I want to be able to list it under local, regional, and international so is there a difference?
