I still cannot seem to be able to upload avatars or change custom headers on the test installation. It all ends up blank, unless I just use a Gravatar. God, even though I don’t think you exist, I just have to ask you: why me?

I am currently testing it on Surpass, but I am literally afraid about the moment I can test it on Servage. Their standards are different and they’re known to deactivate accounts and threaten with extra fees if someone has high load during peak hours. That is my main concern. As the person behind the project and the one who knows it best, would you recommend me to switch to a VPS or just be more careful with caching?1 month ago · View

I love the new look of it.
Would it be possible to make this component viewable only to registered users and would that lower the load on the server? That’s always my biggest concern.

LifeStream is a killer in terms of loading times, its scripts cannot be pushed to the footer and a bunch of other things. A great plugin, but needs a lot of things ironed out.

Continued testing BP 1.2 with 3.0 alpha. Wondering how will this, once both are stable, affect my load times. Tempted to write to W3 Total Cache programmer and ask him if his awesome plugin will support, well, everything someday.- Andy Peatling posted a new activity comment: %sIt’s pretty stable, but I can’t speak for stability with 3.0 alpha. If you want caching, then BuddyPress supports object caching pretty well.

…is anyone else doing this or am I just exceptionally curious?
I am looking forward to embedding BuddyPress with WordPress once the 3.0 merge has been done and therefore that’s what I’m testing it with. Given that this is a strange combo, should I even bother reporting the oddities I encounter et cetera?
