It checks the activity update for links with a regex expression, then uses a loop to replace the link with the oEmbed code.
It works, but I’m not sure if there would be a performance hit. For WP’s posts, it caches the object in the postmeta.

I’ve just got the demo site for our GroupWiki plugin up and running. Please can you head on over and test it a bit
One we’ve got some feedback from this and implemented some fixes/refactoring, we aim to release the plugin code as soon as possible.-

morning all …. anything new on the BP front? …….still fighting fake sign ups and spammers ……. maybe we can share a WP/BP domain+email banned list here ……. it could be something where we can add and also pick up the list to add to admin areas ….. we can fight bots but what about the real eyeballs who spam …… can we not get sign…[Read more]
