BuddyPress Test Drive

My name is Ashley Shaw and I live just outside the Cape Town CBD in an area called Woodstock. I am an geek entrepreneur who started his first company called LightSpeedDevelopment in January of 2003. We focus mainly on Desktop Support for Windows, Linux and Macintosh.

Open source is the only software model that works for me. When I found WordPress in 2006 it hooked me almost immediately. In October of 2006 I thought of the idea feedmymedia.com which would provide people with optimized affordable WordPress websites.

In 2007 I decided to refocus the business on WordPress Website development and completely drop our support sales & services. We have been working hard throughout 2008 to become well known for our WordPress services.

In 2009 feedmymedia is going to operate as a separate company. The objective is add new clients of the feedmymedia website package to a WordPress-MU system. We are adding in BuddyPress and creating a professional network called feedmycommunity, which will provide website owners hosted on the system with a community where they can find internet professionals.

Oh yeah, I am an outdoor sports fanatic! I love Mountain Biking Trail Running and Rock Climbing. The mountains are my solution to relaxation and recharging!
