When registering I didn’t see a note telling me to look in my inbox for the activation. If it was there, it needs to be bigger and more pronounced, maybe even get a timed page of its own. If someone can figure out a way for me to import all my phpBB3 users and posts [...]

Such a script doesn’t exist at the moment. Would have to be custom coded.
