Does anybody tried the @notification on Google Buzz – they have an auto complete feature! That would be great for Buddypress 1.3 I’m really looking forward to the ”BP 1.3 feature poll”!- Does Google Buzz have an API? Would be good for someone to make a plugin that will aggregate activity for users.

What about a jquery tooltip that shows the ”@username” when you hover over users ”Fullname” on the activity streams?

Hmm, i'm not a big fan of public wires and nevr use them. Instead i write those "private messages", but i understand your point. There is a backwards compatibility plugin in the work not sure if u could keep the wire with that.

I have to agree that @username is great, but the problem that buddypress uses Fullname instead of Username prevents people from using it.
