You need to add more memory to PHP:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
Or you might have to manually change the config value to php.ini.
Thanks Ray, I increased the memory in the wp-settings.php and the error went away.
