    The forums component has been completely re-written to provide easier setup and better usability. You’ll notice that group admins and mods now have the ability to manage posts (sticky/edit/delete/close) and you can even edit and delete your own forum posts.

    This is a key feature of 1.1 and should help to irradiate the problems people have had integrating forums in version 1.0.

    More features will be coming for the forums, this is work in progress.

    in fact, bbpress integration with buddypress 1.0.x is sometime “painful” …
